Save the date! Please join us for Homecoming on Sunday, September 7th at 10:00AM. Our annual Homecoming is a festive regathering at church after summer travels and summer schedules. It also represents the kickoff of a new program year.
This year we are excited to include a special consecration and dedication of two new stained glass windows in the All Saints Chapel! Construction of the windows is complete and the installation at St. C's is scheduled for August 25th. On September 7th we will include a consecration during morning worship and gather in prayerful thanksgiving with the family of longtime parishioner Isabel Brugge, who passed away last year. Generous donations from Isabel's family, Dorothy & Kevin Maus, have made these windows possible. Dorothy & Kevin invite everyone to a special luncheon in Gill Hall immediately following the service. Please find, and share, an invitation for this special day by clicking HERE.
During Homecoming we will also be happy to welcome Mr. Scott McDaniel, Art Director at Stained Glass Resources. Mr. McDaniel not only designed and fabricated each of the new windows, he also previously designed four of our existing windows earlier in his career. He will be available during the luncheon to describe the artistic process and to answer any questions. If you weren't able to join our presentation about the windows earlier this summer, we have uploaded a selection of photos taken by St. C parishioners Rick & Kirsten Taylor during their visit to the studio at the end of June. Click HERE to view the windows during an earlier stage of the fabrication process.
